Georgetown South With a reputation for being family-friendly, the Georgetown South area offers conveniently located schools and recreational facilities, including the multi-use Gellert Centre. Much of the southern part of Georgetown has been developed in the past twenty years, and these new homes are 3 and 4 bedroom detached and townhouses and were constructed primarily through reputable and established building companies. Although they enjoy the convenience of grocery, butcher, florist and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood, South Georgetown residents have quick access to big box stores in nearby communities. They’re close, but not too close.
